I'm not sure we ever even saw her talking to Alexander prior to whole incident with Perez. If I were Alex I would view her proclamations of friendship as highly opportunistic.

Alexander was just another knife for her to use to stick it to Perez. She would have laid into him as a fence sitter if he hadn't walked. I don't believe she gives a toss about Alexander.
