I didn't see that at any point in the house. What I did see however, was Hopkins attempting to isolate and ostracise other housemates, often with the gleeful support of the likes of Michelle and Cami Li who seemed to relish in her nastiness as it gave them a licence to be even nasier themselves. It was actually disturbing viewing at times.

It's quite a common trait of narcissistic bullies. Rather than full on attack of their target, they like to use deflection, particularly when others are there to witness it.
So they turn their spite into an apparently noble cause.
They then appear to be 'defending' some other poor sod, who is actually of no interest to them at all, just a suitable weaker personality.

She's despicable.

To me she took on a new persona after some kind of let down in her life... an act that has taken over her life...Could it have been losing her army career... who knows... She seems to have been a bright pupil at school who was liked...

OP I think you ask a very pertinent question , making a good point.

I didn't once see her behaviour as defending others, it was all attack, attack, attack.
I disliked her from day one, it didn't change.

And, if Katie P won because of the anti-Katie H backlash, then even better.

She knows her behaviour was out of order and is pre-emptingbbeing called on it.

She says things over and over and over again, others then repeat it as fact. I've seen it so much on this forum from her supporters.

I'd be shocked if she didn't show some signs of this behaviour when she was at school, it seems so intrinsic to who she is. She's too skilled at it, and it comes too naturally for her to be some sort of act for me.

It was amazing how she went so quickly from claiming she spoke for those who can't speak for themself, to attacking Keith in a situation where he couldn't speak for himself.
