Anyone think that Siobhan Redmond would be great as the Rani in the TV series, alongside Peter Capaldi?

I hope that SM can find time to ask Siobhan. I think she's the perfect choice for Kate O'Mara's replacement.

I don't think the Rani should come back. At the moment I am enjoying the Big Finish stories more than the TV stories, so I think more Big Finish stories with her are better than a TV story in the near future with her included.

Siobhan's great. Liked her ever since I saw her in 'Bullman' with the late, great Don 'Gavrok' Henderson back in the day. So has the Rani got a sexy Scottish accent in the audios? It's all the rage with Gallifreyans these days, I believe.

Now there's a female Time Lord in the TV series, they don't need another one. Opportunity missed I think. That said, the woman currently playing The Master is excellent in Psychobitches on Sky Arts, so I am sure she's great as The Master too. (I've only seen her in a couple of brief scenes in the early Capaldi episodes)
