Better Call Saul on Netflix - Discussion Thread
Better Call Saul has arrived on Netflix. The Breaking Bad spinoff follows the adventures of James 'Jimmy' McGill, although you probably know him better as the crooked and clever lawyer Saul Goodman.
We'll use this thread to discuss the episodes as they're released weekly. Related content from Digital Spy:

Was on UK Netflix at 7am, I watched it then.
I thought it was very very good. Deffo seems that you get much more out of it if you have watched Breaking Bad. (I won't give any spoilers though) |

Really enjoyed the 1st episode, this is how all shows should be done, released a few hours after airing in the States and no adverts.

seems to be a partnership:
We're excited to be launching a brand new partnership with Netflix to provide you with some great new content and discussions surrounding the service and its Netflix Original shows and films. As a result, there will be a dedicated Digital Spy moderator representing Netflix in this forum - not unlike in the past where we’ve had companies offering support - who will be clearly identified by a logo under their name. They’ll be starting threads and contributing to existing topics, so please feel free to join in! We wanted to assure you that this will make no difference as to what you can post in theforum (so long as it is within our community guidelines, of course!) and we hope this enriches discussion in this section. |

OMG what has this forum come to when corporate money starts threads and discussion?
How crass! The very bottom of the DS 'get rich quick' sellout barrel has been scraped. How long before DS close down US pace threads in the US TV shows forum as they ain't watching on Netflix? Still, money has exchanged hands and so it's a done deal and DS don't give a stuff about anyone else. |

This is a real number for Better Call Saul 0333 920 7744 (It's a free number) and I urge anyone who like this show to ring it, it's pretty cool.
goo.gl/w5rEm2 As for the first episode, it took a while to get going but I'm looking forward to watching the rest. |

I really enjoyed the episode. The opening sequence was interesting. I loved that we saw the nail bar that Saul kept trying to palm off to Walt and Jesse to launder their money!!

No idea but if it helps the UK get american TV shows at about the same time, I'm all for this sponsoring thing.
This used to be a place for public opinion not DS corporate influence. And there are other ways of watching it at the same time or about 15 minutes after it has aired, as seen by the many "US pace" threads in the US TV shows forum. It all just stinks of money buying opinion and influence on what use to be an unbiased un-affiliated forum. Seems to be a sell out now. |

I loved the first episode, that ending though o:
Also, I don't mind the whole Netflix area of DS, it's decent to have because Netflix are putting of high quality shows and "TV" doesnt really suit Netflix. |

Episode two is up on Netflix UK now!
We loved the first episode, though it wasn't quite what we were expecting. It's great seeing Jimmy 'before he was Saul'. Bob Odenkirk is a legend. Now we just need to find time to watch episode two... |

Great first episode
Anyone else think that when he was driving around that neighbourhood, the one when he hits the guy, we were going to see Walt cleaning his car or putting out the rubbish!! Loved the "the only way that's a $500 car is if I had a $300 hooker in the back" |
