Food That You HATE?
Not something you dislike and would rather it was not on your plate, but something that would make you gag and vomit if you ate it. What foods do you HATE?
For me, mayo. I don't know why, as I like all of the ingredients in it, but the taste (or even the smell) makes me literally (the actual literal use of the word literally there, not this weird new usage which seems to mean "not literally") spew. |

As a veggie - lamb having to be cooked at home (for hubby) is my worst nightmare!
then kidneys , offal etc. Also I hate anything goat or sheep milk - a lot of people seem to give veggies 'goats cheese ' as meat option. ![]() Anything Over done in oil - olive, rapeseed etc' |

Avocado. Tried them back in the day when I was still at primary school. Ended up throwing it back up, in front of everybody in my class! Will never have them again!

I have never been repulsed by the foods I have been offered or eaten at the time
but I won't actually choose to eat any tripe again - even though I have enjoyed it several times years ago - Cold with vinegar salt & pepper [ as you do with certain seaside seafoods ] Years ago I once ate a hot meal of faggots in gravy which were served to me by flatmates before I was told what they were - I have never eaten them again Brains or Eels would be another thing I would not try In recent years I do **try most days of the year not to eat any meat ** and Won't eat ANY little lambs - I avoid meats most days - as I think of all the poor animals - birds - fish - crustaceans [ even insects in the jungle shows ] etc

Mushrooms - they look awful, they have a horrible texture and they taste disgusting.
Sweetcorn - what is it for? Seriously, it serves no purpose at all and it tastes of nothing. Tiramisu - if I want a coffee I'll have a coffee. If I want a sponge cake I'll have a sponge cake. If I want a cream cake....if I want alcohol....you get the picture. Disgusting. |

The pips and jelly bit in a raw tomato. Cooked or just the flesh is fine.

Brie/Camembert
Sweetcorn Macaroni Cheese Cauliflower Raw Egg (never actually eaten a raw egg, but the thought of having it when you see people do it as a hangover cure just baffles me, how can that be a cure?) |

Liver & onions. Egg mayo sandwiches. The smell of both of those just makes me want to heave.
I can't have my lunch in the canteen if liver is on
