Blimey! That's quite a break through for Big Finish.

And a chance, possibly, for old Doctors to meet Kate?

They'd be mad to pass up the chance if the deal allows this.

I wonder how much Courtney material they have from all his Big Finish stories? Would it be possible to piece together a conversation between Kate and her dad?

If they are set before Dark Water/Death In Heaven then maybe Osgood could return

Don't give them ideas . Though they do say more exciting cast details to come so I wouldn't be surprised if there's another new series character or classic Doctor in there somewhere. I'm hoping for Kate to meet Eight.

Wouldn't previous Doctor stories have to result in a memory wipe? The 11th Doctor was supposedly the first incarnation to meet Kate. (Although we know UNIT does have memory wiping technology.)

Given Power Of Three takes place in 2016/2017, but Kate's already met him in Day Of The Doctor, set in 2013, I think we can ignore that.

Ah, but Power of Three is the first meeting from the Doctor's perspective.

What I mean is, I think we can ignore that whole conversation . Though I could excuse a memory wipe if it meant we got to hear Eight in the new series universe.

BF could (and no doubt will) simply say chin boy was lying about that. I'm sure they'll have a good reason why.

I think it's more likely to be just a UNIT thing with no Doctor involvement, that's how it is with Counter Measures and to be honest it works better without him.

Already been filmed. Watch Downtime sometime soon; buy the video from ebay or amazon if you can. Great story.

I hope they mix together as many generations of UNIT personnel and former personnel as possible. Benton and Yates from the 1970s (or was it 1980s?), Bambera from the 1980s (or 1990s?) with Mace and Magambo from the 2000s.

Well, it would still be nice to hear Gemma's version of Kate talk to her dad.

I'm intrigued by Kate getting her own BF series.

Hope the Paternoster Gang are next, lol.

Let 'em turn up in a Jago & Litefoot adventure first, though! Or a big crossover featuring J & L, the Pats, and Victorian Torchwood as featured in Torchwood, of course; lesbian duo if I remember correctly!

Ian Levine has written the theme song for the Kate Stewart series, to be sung (spoken) by Jemma Redgrave.

Oh that's good news. Ian's written some good stuff in the past. He was involved with Take That in their early years. Glad he's well enough after his recent stroke to be composing music.
