Right I feel like a right idiot but I've just bought a bush freeview hd box which I got up and running in 5mins and was working perfectly, but me being me I wanted to check the settings to see that I was getting the best picture quality possible, so I was messing with the resolutions as mine was on 1080i and I flicked it onto 1080p to see what would happen, BIG MISTAKE! The screen went blue and said "not supported", no problem I thought, I can change it back to the correct setting.............WRONG! I cannot for the life of me find out how to get the user interface of the bush box back onto the screen to actually select the correct resolution!? How am I meant to change it back if I can't view the menu system? I tried looking on the tv menu for resolutions but it doesn't seem to have any settings for it there so what am I supposed to do now, I'm just stuck on a blue screen with "not supported" on it.
At the moment my only thought was to switch the box completely off and leave it for a while and hopefully it will lose its memory/settings and start from scratch again I.e detecting the correct resolution automatically like it did the first time I set it up? Question is how long would it take to lose its memory? Already tried 30mins and it still didn't forget the incorrect resolution setting. Anyone know how long it would take or something else I could try(although I dout there's much I could try without being able to see the menu)
Thanks
