Title pretty much explains the question, would be good to discuss about the certain actor on a thread without clogging up the forums. There would be a lot of threads though, doctors, companions, side on companions etc, so could get split up more, I.e

Appreciation Posts (above threads here)
Then your took to different sections, doctors, companions, others (villains etc)
(Sorry if it doesn't make sense, have problems with putting stuff down on paper)

This forum is only really active when there's a season on. I don't think a sub-forum is fitting for that matter.

Exactly, on the appreciation threads we could discuss other things based on the actor outside Who, for example, John Barrowman and his pants/radio show etc

Appreciation threads are bad enough. An appreciation forum just seems like an extreme measure to place even the crappest aspects of Doctor Who beyond criticism.

Before we know it, people will be killed for drawing a cartoon of the Prophet Hartnell coughing and spluttering while telling his companion "Chessington" that a world of adventure awaits.
