Hi, my 3 year old regular Kindle has given up the ghost after much usage, so I need a new one. With the price of the Fire HD 6 only £69 I'm tempted to go for this instead of a normal Kindle as the benefit of web browsing, back light and colour screen is a big benefit to me.
Can anyone tell me what the reading experience is like on this tablet compared to a regular kindle. I know e-ink is better on the eyes - but as Im just a casual reader due to time limitations, I get through about 10 books a year so would not have my eyes glued to the screen endlessly. How is the screen for reading outside for example on holiday etc.
Thanks a lot in advance for your input.

I have a Kobo Glo and it's brilliant. Wider format support and expandable storage via micro SD card. I know e-books are small in size but I always like to have the expandable storage option
