Your probably right, I might have mis-heard that. 'Flowers' or 'Florist' I thought it was amusing and impressively logical thinking on her part though.

Very enjoyable. Really fascinating programme.

Really funny programme and most of the children are very cute. I do find JaJa a bit of a spoilt madam. I would be embarrassed if I was her mother watching that.
Lily also needs to learn to play normally with other kids. She talks far too much about boyfriends, who fancies who etc. I hate to see that in a five year old. It's not even done in a funny innocent way.

Lonesome George...

Wonder what is putting him off joining in?
I really love George. Even though he's an introvert, he's got quite a strong character and can stand up for himself when he needs to.

Jaja doesnt have siblings to "knock the corners off" her and help her fit in better, she was learning and she seemed to be genuinely sorry.
I was at Lily-that's a kid whose been allowed unbridled access to unsuitable adult TV shows (like hollyoaks etc) or adult conversations. I think she is still innocent, its her parent's fault for allowing her listen/watch these programmes.

Why is it most Teacher's kids are so aggressive Seriously, every primary Teacher's kid I ever knew was a bit mad/wild.

I agree that her parent/s are to blame. She behaves more like a 15 year old than a 5 year old and is far too precocious in some ways. It was sad to see her looking a bit bewildered when Alfie and Emily were just playing and laughing like normal 5 year olds.
On the other hand, she was very nice to Jaja, after the drawing incident. She seems to be a sweet little girl who just needs to be allowed to behave like a little girl and not a teenager.

This is one one the best Documentary series I've seen in ages.

Warm, poigniant, cute and at times very, very funny aswell as being educational it ticks all the right boxes for good TV.

I'm halfway through the 1st 5-year olds episode now and I must say I really admire George's self confidence and principles for a boy his age.

I'm also intrigued by his playful way of dealing with conflict. Likewise with Alfie, who has a similar mindset to George despite being more extroverted, and he quoted Roald Dahl which I found cool.

Karma seemed to get back at his creative cursing though when he fell off his chair!

Emily and Alfie's friendship was interesting to see aswell, considering they are still at that age where friends and playmates are usually the same gender.

Lily's attitude is a bit alarming though to say the least, far too advanced for a 5-year old and not in a good way either.

I'm on +1 too many high points for me to comment on.
I start tearing up as soon as the titles start.
Cracking show, need to create some space on the PVR for all the episodes.

Oh that's the first long term friendship out of this show, Emily and Alfie still writing to each other.
Found Alfie rather odd at times.
Ruth struggling to nominate her favorite picture, was interesting, what she wanted versus what she thought she should, to be nice to Alfie.
