Watching TV from below
Hi all,
We currently have a cheap LG 26" LCD TV at the foot of our bed, on top of a set of drawers. When laying in bed, you are having to look up to the TV, so the viewing angle isn't ideal, and the picture is very dark (but is fine when standing, looking straight on). We'd rather not wall mount the TV, so were wondering if there are any ~32" televisions or types of TV which would be better for viewing from this angle? Thanks! Gareth |

The majority of LCD TV's have poor viewing angles above/below, going up in size is unlikely to help your situation.
So....... How about a table top stand that tilts? Something like this may be compatible with your TV. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Brateck-Moti.../dp/B00A8I1TTK |

Try a Sony set (they only make 32 and above now though), and they have excellent viewing angles.
However, even an LG 32 might be better than your 26, smaller sets always seemed poorer. |

good shout on the tilting stand, I've ordered one to try
Cheers Looked up the specs on my TV (LG 26LH2000) - it says the viewing angle is 178 degrees both horizontally and vertically - which it can't be! |
