Bit harsh. Graeme Harper was due to direct it so it would most likely have been good. And you can't use a fan made production as comparison against what might have been.

They couldn't have made the script as was as the other 4 doctors would never have accepted basically having extended cameos while Tom was the star of the show.

Seemed like an appalling idea at the time, and the "other" Doctors' reluctance to take part in such a reduced role was hardly a ringing endorsement. I'm sure Mr Harper's direction would have been exemplary, but that's not really the issue.
We got Dimensions in Time instead: this is also completely mental, but in a totally different way, and without trying to be as self-important or pompous as Dark Dimension seems to have been. (I love Dimensions in Time ...

The other Doctors' roles in it were even regarded as interchangeable by the Powers that Were. When Peter Davison called to complain about some lines he was given, he was told 'No problem, we'll just switch your whole part with Colin Baker's.'

It was cancelled because a department with no production expertise was trying to mount a production. One suspects they therefore may not have been entirely competent.
I watched all four videos. How long was the episode planned to be? Is this the real script or someone's interpolation?
