Saskia was a favourite? She was my favourite but I thought I was in the vast minority.

That's one of the reasons I stopped. I probably will go back to it after BB7 or I may do BB8 first. Is BB8 a good one? Apparently BB9 is better and it died after that.

BB9 is much better than BB8 IMO. I would recommend BB9 first.

The production in BB8 feels amateur, the housemates for the most part are crap, and the show itself has a serious drop in quality around the half-way point. But I suppose it's worth watching after BB9.

BB10 starts off extremely slow but once it hits it's stride around week 3 it is very watchable up until the last two weeks or so. The launch is awful though, in fact the whole first week is boring.

BB8 was one of my least favourites ever

I'd probably rather watch them in order as much as possible. Why was the BB10 launch so bad?

Aww thanx.
I watched it first time around but imho BB2 was the best.
Put that on your 'next' list.

Helen was adorable and Brian was so sweet.
Those were the days when it was just a pleasure to watch...........then the media-whores arrived.

I just remember it being very anti-climactic. It was very rushed and the launch night twist was a waste of time.

1) There wasn't a single hm i liked
2) The all female launch should never have happened
3) There wasnt one good task or twist in the entire run

Yeah as well as finishing BB6 and watching BB8-BB10 I'd also like to see BB1-BB3 to see what it was like when it really was just a social experiment.

I can see why they might have thought the all female launch was a good idea but it is not a cross section of our society which is what the Starting HMs should be IMO.

Was it not really odd to have 5 new HMs so late in the series in BB8?

Yes it was very odd and there was a lot of messing about with the first eviction after they went in, with hms being swapped all over the place until the nomination line up was finally finalised.

I can't help thinking that Channel 4 were nuts to cancel BB so early? Didn't they cancel it before BB10 had aired? So rhat is following BB9 which was a popular series and less than 3 years after BB7 which is regarded as the best series ever by some.

Unfortunately Channel 5 have murdered the show But I'll still watch

Yes I think it must have been very odd. How did the BB8 halfway HMs conpare to the BB7 ones? Why didn't they put them in sooner in BB8?

Over all i would say the BB8 newbies were probably a bit nicer though pretty boring, but preferable to the likes of BB7 Spiral and Jane in BB7 !

BB7 was great but BB6 is my ultimate favourite. Mainly because it was the first series I ever watched, and cos Makosi is the greatest housemate of all time.

BB7 had some great characters (Nikki being the best) but a few too many 'filler' housemates imo. Pretty much everyone in BB6 bar one or two had a really big role to play.

I think I was starting to get bored of BB around this time. It was getting so negative. There were some good characters though, I liked Aisleyne and Pete. I got a bit sick of Nikki and her childish tantrums, I have little patience for people like that. I liked the secret house idea. I remember disliking Grace so much.

I like the early series the most. I might be looking at it with rose tinted specs but I remember a lot of laughs in series 2 with Brian who was very funny and the sweet relationship between Helen and Paul. It all seemed so innocent before it was shagging under tables and fight nights

I think the only HMs who can really be described as filler from BB7 are Michael Bonnie and George.

From BB6 Vanessa and Sam were.

BB5 literally had no filler. Everyone offered a lot to the storylines going on in the series and they were all strong characters and interesting people. Actually Stu wasn't either he was just the nice guy which is necessary and he did contribute with the relationship with Michelle.

BB7 is a weird one for me, because it's one of my favourite series (if not my absolute favourite), but I really struggled to support a housemate, especially towards the end.

Don't get me wrong, it was generally a fantastic set of housemates, and some very memorable moments, but it felt like everytime I started to think 'I want so and so to win' they'd do something to make me dislike them.

I also found Pete HUGELY overrated. Couldn't stand Aisleyne either, which I know puts me in the minority on here *ducks and runs for cover*

BB7 has to be my all-time favourite series. Its the only series where I actually have the whole thing on dvd.

Richard was my favourite. One of my favourite lines of his was when he was listening to Jayne continuing to burp loudly 'if you don't stop burping i'll rip your lungs out and shove em up your a*se'. ...of course nowadays that would have been reported to the police!

Haha! Richard is a great HM! Michael is beginning to grate now.

Jayne is just hilarious and I can't believe she's against Richard in Week 9
She came into the bedroom and exclaimed 'Mikey and I just had a quicky in the garden'
She definitely has the funniest laugh of any HM !

Didn't Michael have a stupid cat he used to carry around?

One of my fav BB7 moments was Sezer getting evicted...ive never seen anyone SO sure they were staying!

Yes he does - he is so unhygienic, it's gross! When I first came in I thought he seemed quite nice and a bit attractive but gone off him now

Sezer's eviction was hilarious. 'What if I do go? I'll look like a right idiot' or words to that effect after ranting about how sure he was Richard was going... And then 24 hours later he was gone!

Bb1 the only truly authentic series whwn no one knew what being part of the show meant. .I remember watching it and being mesmerised. .told my family about this show just watching people. .they tried it and thought I was nuts to like it. .it wasn't even well publicised...the only stand out things that happened were toms hard on..nickys naked painting ans the outing of nasty nick. .but it was edge of the seat whwn that happened. .now most of that wouldn't even make the highlight show xx
