Much of this is already done, but that category would be so much better if it followed some kind of detail to give us the viewers a better emphasis of their views in a more structured way.

I.e. The Book and Author
The Genre
A synopsis and a personal opinion from the forum member
And finally a rating

This happens a lot on that thread, but not nearly enough.

I put forward this being a format to follow so that people finding themselves here will be as good as any other ratings format like Goodreads.

Why not be as competitive with their views?

As you say, some people do this already. I don't know if imposing a formula would work on DS. It's possibly better to leave it that people can add extra info if they wish - just my opinion.

I love it when people include a bit of a review about the books they mention, but I don't think there should be any pressure to do so.

If somebody mentions a book that sounds interesting to me but they don't include an opinion about it, I usually just skip over to Amazon and have a look at the reviews there to figure out if it's one to add to my reading list.

As for suggestions, I still think it could be a good idea to give some kind of structure to synopsis and rating for anyone visiting DS book site. Though that said, I still appreciate everyone's comments.

I must confess, I am one of the ones guilty of just putting a title and nothing else. Laziness, pure and simple! I do agree that it would be much better if we put a bit of extra info.
