Kush and Martin are apparently mates. Shabnam has recently bought Staceys friendship. Kush is with Shabnam. Martin and Stacey will be hanging around each other a lot soon. They have both recently become single.

They have quite a bit in common. Both are parents of girls. Both are from humble beginnings. Both come from strong female led families.

I think Stacey's friendship with Shabnam is good - EastEnders do long lasting friendships really well and I hope this is one of them and we really need to see normal couples doing normal things for a while after the Lucy reveal

Would be a fan of that, Stacey has few other viable love interests left. I like her platonic friendship with Max and Dean is never gonna be with her now. Unless Ryan makes his hinted at return then Martin is a great choice. Stacey's new role as agony aunt of the square would make her a great person to follow in Pauline's footsteps as a Fowler matriarch.

Pauline was such a lovely warm woman in the beginning and she really was a pillar of the community, that is why Sharon spent so much of her childhood in Michelle's home because it had the warmth and love that hers didn't, it was really sad to see her turn into such a bitter resentful cold person.

This has been suggested a fair bit since Martin and Sonia broke up, and the more I think about it the more I like it. I wasn't keen at first, but now especially as it would be part of a group with Kush and Shabnam I'll actually be disappointed if it doesn't happen.
