EastEnders all_night
I created a blog for the fanfic to go on, but will probably be easier to go here:
Prior to this: Lauren was stabbed in the live episode by Whitney, who was revealed as the killer of Lucy Beale. Jane and Ian are married and Linda remains trapped in the cellar with Dean. This week also marks new arrivals: Joe Simpson and his boyfriend Kyle Jones. Monday 23rd February Tanya and Max comfort each other as Lauren remains in a critical condition in hospital. Mick announces the party is over given the events and begins to clear up. Peter snaps at Ian when he overhears him blaming Lauren for ruining his wedding. Whitney tells Lee that she’s moving to Milton Keynes permanently to live with Bianca. Mick is confused at Linda’s whereabouts and goes in search down the cellar. When he hears Linda screams he smashes down the door and is shocked to see Dean standing in the cellar with a knife – held against Linda’s throat. Lee comes running down the stellar and sees red. Mick holds him back as they try to negotiate with Dean. Tina listens in from above, and thinks Dean is behind the stabbing of Lauren – she calls the police. – Cliffhanger. Tuesday 24th February Tina runs in telling them she has rung the police, much to Dean’s annoyance. Linda sees an opportunity when he moves forward with her, and bits his arm. Mick punches Dean as the police enter the cellar. Linda is shaken up, but Dean is even more so when police arrest him for the attempted murder of Lauren. Tanya blames Max for not being able to keep control of his family, but she is gives a few home truths of her own for leaving them in the lurch. Lauren still remains in a critical condition as Abi keeps a bedside vigil. Ben and Jay arrive to keep her company. When Ben has to leave, Jay and Abi reminisce about the good times they had together. With emotions running high, Abi leans in for a kiss, unaware Ben is actually watching through the blinds. – Cliffhanger Elsewhere Sharon wonders if Phil was behind Lauren’s stabbing in his quest to get back the Arches. Aleks notices a change in Roxy’s behaviour, but puts it down to the stress of recent troubles. Charlie confides in Dot about his kiss with Roxy. Thursday 26th February The Mitchells receive good news – Ronnie’s condition has improved and she should wake today. Dot tells Charlie that he should tell Ronnie as soon as she is better, as all secrets come out eventually. Charlie tells Roxy that he is going to tell Ronnie about the kiss, as he wants his conscience clear, however Roxy begs him not too. As Ronnie comes round with her family beside her, Charlie says he has something to tell her… – Cliffhanger The police quiz Dean about the night of the 19th February in relation to the stabbing of Lauren, and then taking Linda hostage. Dean admits to his altercation with Linda, insisting he was angry at her and the family labelling him a rapist. He is adamant that he had nothing to do with stabbing Lauren. The police tell him they are awaiting confirmation on the DNA on the blade. Dean is taken back to the cells, nervous about what’s to come. When Jay arrives back home, Ben is sitting alone. He tells him he witnessed him kissing Abi. Jay admits that he did and that there is still strong feelings between them. Ben insists that Abi is his girlfriend, but Jay tells him he had to admit the truth – he’s gay. Ben breaks down crying. Jay tells him it’s ok to be gay. Ben heads out onto the tube and heads to GAY bar. An emotional Ben knocks back the drinks and is soon joined by an admirer. Friday 27th February Charlie buckles as everyone watches on, waiting for him to say something. He tells her that he loves her and that they have named their baby Matthew. Ronnie is pleased everything is good, and gets to hold her son for the first time. Roxy thanks Charlie for not saying anything and the pair to keep their kiss a secret. At GAY, Ben tells Joe, who he has just met, about recent troubles. He invites him back to his place, hesitant at first, Ben agrees. As the pair kiss just before entering, Ben is confused to see another male inside. It’s Joe’s boyfriend Kyle. Ben breaks down again crying, leading to Joe and Kyle to console him. Kyle is annoyed that Joe has brought back someone who isn’t up for fun. Max drops Abi off home to get some rest. As she watches outside the window, a car pulls up. She sees Ben get out, followed by Joe. Ben thanks him for the night, and Joe gives him a kiss. Abi realises that Jay was telling the truth. – Cliffhanger. Elsewhere Peter is struggling to hold it together while his fiance lays in hospital. Shirley defends her son as rumours spread about his involvement with Lauren. Linda is still shaken up but vows to move on, knowing that Dean won’t be roaming the streets. |

In last Friday's episode we got the first hint that something may not be right with Fatboy. This episode, while may seem out of the blue is meant to the highlight the case that you don't always see that someone is feeling suicidal or the reason why.
Monday 16th March Fatboy sits alone in the living room sipping a tea, staring at the TV. Dot enters and is surprised to see Fatboy up so early. He says he couldn’t sleep. Dot is quick to blame the noise from Kat and the ‘new boy’ last night. Fatboy heads upstairs to get ready. He looks into the bathroom mirror, as if he’s looking straight through it, before he notices himself. Dot shouts up telling him not to be too long as she needs to get ready for Ronnie coming home. Fatboy washes his face and goes downstairs. He watches Dot pottering around the kitchen. He smiles and heads out the door. Dot calls after him but its too late. Fatboy walks around the square, and is greeted with good mornings by some of regulars of the market. Mick gives him a wave from the Vic window. In the cafe, Fatboy orders a full English. He calls over Charlie who is grabbing a bacon roll. They talk about Ronnie returning home with Matthew and a new beginning for them. Charlie asks why he’s up so early, to which Fatboy says today is an important day. Fatboy heads to the Tube station. He tops up his Oyster card but instead of entering, turns back and heads to the war memorial where he sits down with his head in his hands. When he looks back up, Joe asks to sit down. He asks if its Fatboy, unsure of the other night. Joe says he couldn’t sleep because of Kyle being up all night. Fatboy said he heard something outside late night, someone with Kat. Joe makes a joke that he’s always apologising for Kyle. Fatboy asks Joe if he’s happy. Joe opens up telling him that as each day goes on, the love he has for Kyle is slowly fading. Fatboy tells him to follow his heart, because the heart is always right. When Joe asks about what the head feels, Fatboy looks across to the tube station. Fatboy tells Joe he needs to go and reminds him to follow what is right. Joe heads off and Fatboy heads into the tube station, swipes his card and heads up the stairs. Fatboy waits for the next tube train, as the platform begins to fill with people heading to work and school. He looks up at the sign, ‘1 minute’ until the next train. He stares out. As the announcement says the train is approaching. He slowly looks at it approaching and jumps onto the tracks. The train screeches and a handful of commuters scream. Fatboy’s hand flops open to reveal his ‘F’ necklace as a silence descends. - End |

Tuesday 17th March
Ronnie and baby Matthew arrive home with Charlie much to the delight of Dot. Roxy drops by to see how everyone is and is amazed at how well her sister is doing. The pair talk about the past few months and recent events. Roxy tries to change the subject when talk turns to Charlie moved back into Dot’s. Ronnie is overwhelmed at the trouble that Dot has gone too as she’s invited Roxy, Aleks, Phil and Sharon over for an evening buffet. Phil apologises to Ronnie for what happened at the Wedding, and the pair agree to start afresh. Charlie notices a police car pulling up outside and becomes panicked. However when they knock at the door and ask for Dot, her world is turned upside down when they reveal Fatboy died this morning. - Cliffhanger Fatboy’s words are still ringing in Joe’s head. At the flat, Kyle is still in bed with hungover. Joe looks on disappointed and tells Kyle that he wants to talk to him tonight. Joe heads out to the launderette with his clothes and spots Ben. Joe acts like he’s not bothered that Ben said no to coming back to his last night. Max is frustrated when Tanya announces she has to go back home. She tells him that she’ll be back to visit the hospital, but no Walford. Tanya pops into Jane and Ian’s to say goodbye again. Jane asks if she can stay for one more drink, but Tanya declines insisting she has to go. Jane tries to speak to Ian about the letter but he refuses to speak about it. |

Dot sits alone in the living room, identical to Fatboy’s last day. Charlie and Ronnie wake up, still shocked at yesterday’s news. Dot acts like nothing is wrong and heads to work at the Launderette. Alfie is shocked to learn that Fatboy has died, with the details of what happened splashed across the Walford Gazette. As the news spreads, Joe pieces together the last conversation he had with Fatboy. Feeling like he should have noticed something wasn’t right, he goes to find Dot. In the launderette, Joe tells Dot that he was probably one of the last people to speak to Fatboy. Dot snaps at Joe, and Alfie diffuses the situation as Dot crumbles into tears. - Cliffhanger Phil presses Sharon on whether she’s made any further advances with Max. Ben tells Phil of Sharon’s run-in with Max the other day. Sharon says it is going to take time but Phil is adamant that Max will not get one over on him, regardless of recent events. Kat receives an earful from Joe after her and Kyle’s recent antics in the Square. She takes no notice and invites Kyle out for another night out. Joe tell Kyle if he goes out drinking again tonight he can think twice about coming back home drunk. |

Friday 20th March
Its a few days after Fatboy’s death and the aftermath is still felt around the square. Jane sees it as a good opportunity for Ian to take his mind off the letter he received regarding Lucy’s murder. With the help of Sharon, they both pay a visit to Dot who is struggling to understand why Fatboy killed himself. Ian says it could have been depression and talks about the time he was at his lowest. Dot is still unsure as all seemed well. With Grandma grieving, Charlie feels its best of Ronnie and Matthew move out for a while. Charlie meets up with Roxy to ask if it’s ok for them to move in. Roxy agrees and asks how he is. When she rubs his shoulder, he mistakes the situation and leans for a kiss. Shocked, he apologises and leaves. Shirley tries to keep her strength when Dean refuses to let him see her in prison. Shirley calls round at Max’s, but he’s not in the mood to listen. She tells him to think long and hard as to why he’d stab Lauren. Max ponders Shirley’s words and considers going to tell Shirley the truth, but is stopped by Abi. Elsewhere Joe is pleased with Kyle that he didn’t go out last night, however the happiness is short lived with he hits the vodka and goes out into town with some old mates. |
