Hey guys
Have a quick question maybe you can help me out. I have a marantz mcr510 and want to connect it to a tv. The TV that I am thinking about buying doesn't have a digital optical output, just an AV.
I was wondering if i connect via the analog ports will there be much difference in sound quality as opposed to digital? Or would I be better off buying a tv with a digital connection?

) I very much doubt you'll notice a great deal of difference. Certainly not from TV audio tracks which are not exactly the peak of HiFi sound
I use a Huawei Freeview HD recorder that translates Freeview HD sound to Dolby Digital connected to a Philips Blu-Ray 5.1 surround sound system on optical digital connection and the sound is infinately clearer and on films with surround sound as I currently listening to this afternoon's For Your Eyes Only from ITVHD, it don't half make a difference to the soundtrack quality.
