It annoys me how everyone puts Michelle (from Destiny's Child) above Leona (see video below).
I am into videos dealing with the vocal range of singers but clearly these videos take everything out of context.
Comparing single notes doesn't say anything about the overall quality of a voice.

we can`t take these things too seriously ! back in the seventies I played with Yorkshire Imperial Metals brass band
we did a massed bands concert and the conductor announced we have the famous cws manchester band, also The wold famous GUS footwear and band and THE NOT SO FAMOUS Yorkshire Imperial metals Band ! talk about a put down !

we got out own back by beating them all the following year at the British Open Championships!

Did they shoot Leona for the album photoshoot?

I think they shot the video (and all the BHS footage). Sarah has been tweeting them all year

It's definitely the best her voice has sounded in ages! In 2012/2013 I was worried about her voice, but wow. Listening to it in those clips, it sounds as strong as ever!

So do we think that's all done for today then?

I think it would be a perfect time to announce the lead single name!

I think Sam Smith revealed the album title, tracklisting and put pre-order up round about this time, but i know tht most likely wont happen at the moment! Just a thought though!

In a perfect world they'd tease something everyday this week before making an announcement on Friday for a premiere the following week.

Yeah but I'm talking big developments where we're finding out song lyrics, seeing videos behind the scenes of her writing/recording, actual album news. Not stuff like her vevo picture being changed.

Is her website down for anyone else? Maybe they are imbedding the video from this morning.

I wonder if underlying unhappiness with the label affected her voice? It was never seriously bad imo, but it sounds much freer in these clips. Perhaps because she is genuinely expressing herself and not working to order. I think we are about to hear her true voice, if that makes sense.

I think this is the start of build up to release. As people have said before, she can't just drop a song like Rihanna with no hype..

No idea how long it will be before more detailed news emerges though. It's the Brits next week so perhaps she'll be over here for that and other stuff.
