Nothing has been OFFICIALLY confirmed anywhere. Press events, premieres, scheduled performances change all the time. We're only noticing it because we're all die-hard fans and we're checking every single day for news. Casual listeners aren't going to be bothered if it comes out today or September, they'll know something is coming when it's announced.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it's not frustrating, I want new music as much as the next guy - but it's the pop music industry, it's business first, music after. I just think people need to stop panicking is all, it's nothing to be worried about

If the US label delays... or if the UK label delays (huge doubts on the second one)... I'll assume that they only want the best for the album. This era, I want my friends who told me that I had a weird obsession to have the same weird obsession... so that we can all have a normal obsession, the obsession that is Leona's music.

The time is now. Leona's with a new label, she's starting fresh with people who have seen her potential and can foresee her success. If they delay... that is part of a plan and if that plan leads to good things, I'm not complaining or becoming concerned. As bad a delay would be, it could mean good things too. I would rather them take their time and release something that gets Leona the recognition she deserves, than just putting out what they have if it won't be as effective.

I thoroughly believe Leona has an incredible album already, but if they can take it a notch further by delaying it a bit, I'll take that. She deserves the best. Delays aren't inherently a terrible thing... Syco have just proven that they manage to screw things up when they delay, which is probably why we'd feel negatively about it.

Still... we have no idea if this is really the case or not and I'm leaning toward the position that it's not the case. If it is... I'll handle it by looking at all the positives of a delay.

You may be right but I don't believe that to be the case, it was far too ambiguous. We all assumed it has something to do with perhaps an episodic behind the scenes documentary which has never materialised...

I'm not really bothered about this yet, because I don't allow myself to believe it's true It's not definite information that there is some delay anyways, right? I don't think it's such a big deal though, I was quite upset in the morning when I woke up and saw that there are some bad news, but I don't care now. Of couse I'm thirsty for new music, but when it comes, it comes. I'm excited to see what happens this week.
And guys, please, stop comparing Island to Syco. I'm sure Island has everything perfectly planned. Syco would plan just X Factor performance and that's all. They only cared about Spirit, because there was so much hype around Leona at that time, so they knew it's easy money for them. I like your opinions. I actually feel like CWL was handled wonderfully. Had Leona not been sick, I feel like it would have gone even better. Imagine if she really did perform Ave Maria live... That would've been news worthy. Instead, she gave a shaky performance of Bleeding Love on the XFactorUS, then lip-sync'd most of the One More Sleep performances, which just didn't feel right. Nothing can be helped if she wasn't well though.

I still have no idea why anyone would be worried about Island at the moment. Give them a chance first. Not saying that they shouldn't have an opinion of their own... but it's a tad dramatic to spell doom before we've seen what they've planned. I feel like they're deliberately being tight-lipped so that they can have a massive blow-out when the single/album drops. It'll be the shock and surprise that the general audience needs to realise that Leona is out of her shell and ready to take on the world.
