Bit of a long shot but here's hoping.

I'm ditching the iPhone & contact, so I've bought an old Motorola V3, so now I need a PAYG tariff. I'd go for the 3 2 1 but the phone isn't compatible.
All these new tariffs have minutes, data & texts, I just want to pay for what I use & cheaply!!

Last bill used

53 minutes
56 texts
149 mob

That's £3.20 on the 3 2 1 plan..

So does anyone know if it's possible & where I can grab an old school PAYG sim from with old school rates..

Cheers

Wouldn't it be easier to get a 3G dumbphone?

PAYG can be more expensive then contract. Unless you really don't use your phone that much it will cost more than the cheapest contract.

Why not go to Vodafone contract only, £9.99 a month and a decent package.

All the networks still allow calls/texts from credit balance.

The cheapest non 3G I can think of is Delight Mobile (on EE) who also offer 3p calls/2p texts/1p data, Sainsburys Mobile are 8p calls 4p texts, Giffgaff offer 10p calls 8p texts.

There are plenty of options if you do a little research.

Oh come on.. The dumb phones of today are hideous. I want something that looks good / different.

Why pay £10 a month when I only use £3-4 a month?

Yes I've done my research & now I'm asking here to make sure I haven't missed anything...

why not buy a lumia 520 for £47 and then use the 3-2-1 sim from Three

Thanks for your ideas!

Delight Mobile would appear to be your best bet then.

I don't think that you have missed anything. My web page lists all the vanilla PAYG tariffs. Delight is the cheapest that offers 2G coverage.
