Stb mode to freesat mode
Good Evening, I've searched the forum but haven't found an answer yet, but perhaps someone could tell why on my humax 1000s 500gb when a preset timer program is about to come on and the channel is about to change, why does it say something like "your STB is about to change to freesat mode"
As far as I am aware I am already on freesat and don't understand why it always says that. I appreciate that it's not a particularly important thing to ask, but I'm just trying to get to grips with it all. Thanks |

Are you sure you haven't put the box into non-freesat mode?
Best thing to do is a factory reset and see if it resolves the issue. |

Hello Gonzo, no it's definitely not in STB mode.
I've done a few factory resets in the last few days and quite a lot of unplugging from the mains because of a fault with my box freezing. I was trying to work out if getting that message was normal or might it indicate a fault of some sort? Thanks for replying |

Have seen this twice, but not for a while now. Small bug I think, no idea what triggers it.
I don't think the unit actually does change from non-freesat to freesat if a freesat timer goes off. |

Thanks for your replies.
Not really a problem, just one of those annoying things. |
