Aw congrats Louise, lovely news and I'm so pleased for you all!

Good job you didn't announce it during DS Factor, Aliyah may have stitched you up like 2 Shoes or Miss Dynamix.

On a slightly less dramatic note (because nobody really cares about lonely Hector ) I will probably be enjoying this as a viewer too. Looking forward to it though, people get so passionate with this its awesome. ”

Aw we do care, I think you'd be a fab addition and also think you'd work well in a team with your great humour!

Thanks

Im not good at much so humour will do

I have already given my reasons Aliyah why I may not put my name forward, its not through lack of interest but for other reasons. Either way im sure I'll enjoy it

HI everyone! Just want to say I am really excited to watch this as a viewer, I read the previous thread and it was fully of excitement and contraversy!! I am loving the mentor panel of Aliyah, Pete and Stacey, and those who have applied so far will be fab contestants! Cant wait for Alex and Rory hosting too, excited to watch this unfold!

Big congrats to you too Louise!! x

Echo everyone else in saying congratulations Louise, and adding Rory is a popular Irish name for a reason

Anyways, I'm positively thrilled to be hosting another series of Team Factor. I expect nothing less than breakdowns over 'wrong' decisions, fighting over stolen song choices and backhanded compliments about songs that might not be people's favourite song.

Not to mention people moaning about songs not being "Indie enough".

First of all, congrats to Louise!

Lmao at everyone saying they'll be enjoying this series as a viewer. I too will unfortunately have to enjoy this competition from the sidelines due to outside commitments, but I do wish everyone brave enough to put their names forward the best of luck.

Since there seems to be so many viewers, is there enough sign ups?
Alexos
19-02-2015
Although we have a Colosseum of viewers for this series already, there are a few people who've signed up who didn't play last time, so we should still have enough players. Anyone who is considering playing who has yet to send in their application, I urge you to do so asap!
Alexos

I have been told by my espionage services that we may have 12 players. Millions of viewers will not be let down Rejoice!

I will close applications tomorrow evening since I don't think anyone else is going to come forward, but still time to apply if you want to cause controversy.

(Btw the 12 players is including a couple of people who said they will play but haven't sent their actual application yet. The average word count for applications I've received is one word per question, so no pressure).

Welcome to the team selection stage of Team Factor #3! Tonight we will find out where the destinies of our twelve contestants lie. Perhaps you will even be shocked by some of the decisions. Perhaps you will not be at all shocked by some of the others. You will, however, be mildly entertained.

We will begin by getting to know our judges a little better, which will be really exciting...

I asked for a couple of sentences for intros, and this is what Pete came up with:

I'm a fun guy with a sense of humour, as anyone who has heard me sing will attest to. I'm a teacher in real life and I think that gives me the skills to help me develop my team in a supportive, constructive and helpful way, focusing on their strengths and helping them to improve. I also have a strong sense of justice and will fight to the end for my team if need be.

I don't have lots of specific music areas that I'm really into as I'm just drawn to really great songs, regardless of genre, though I have a soft spot for happy, fun pop songs. I love lots of indie and mainstream music, and I see myself as a bit of a bridge between the tastes of the other two judges.

As a mentor, I have one motto: 'never be the worst'. I try to be fun and original in my choices, aiming to be creative whilst staying true to who I think the artist is. For success in games, a song has to be immediate in some way - either musically or emotionally - and appeal to as many voters as possible.

I look forward to working with my team and can't wait to get started!”

So now you know. On to Aliyah...
