Song used in Sainsbury's Advert

I was watching one of Sainsbury's recent adverts not too long (where they were comparing price reductions with the other supermarket chains) and came across this great song that was playing on the advert.

The thing is, I don't know what the title of the song was or the artist? There was a lyric that was being repeated that was going "get on up", but I know for a fact it was definitely not Kool & The Gang or James Brown.

Can anyone help?

Know the song pretty well, but it wasn't that. The song had a very definitive funk sound, very much from the mid to late 1970s.

I've just seen one and it is Kool and the Gang but not the song you've obviously thought (get down on it). It's called Jungle Boogie a track they made in the early 70s but made famous in the 90s by it's inclusion in Pulp Fiction. It starts with "get down, get down".

As soapfan says Brass Construction is more likely the one you want, though they seem to be picking any funky tune that has the lines "get up" or "get down" in them!

I had this confusion myself a couple of weeks ago.

Proof that they have used Brass Connection - Get Up To Get Down
http://www.tvadmusic.co.uk/2014/09/s...ch-to-pricing/

But they have also used Jungle Boogie by Kool and the Gang more recently
