Are Three losing or gaining customers?

Just wondering, what with users on the One plan leaving in droves are Three losing more customers than they are signing up?

The One plan was really popular but the users were treated quite badly I think with requests to call Three and bad and incorrect advice being given in stores. I know 5 people who were on the plan and none are still with Three.

Still havent contacted the majority of their one-plan customers
Still only network offering unlimited data
EE Sim only has gone up in price/down in data

I don't think too many will have left, the alternatives are pretty crappy.

As long as heavy users can still bypass the tether block there is no reason to leave.

Just joined three for the same reason. It was the 321 tariff that caught my eye.

Only problem about 321 is no "Feel At Home".

Nokia N73. Candy bar with 2100 3G.. although it would defeat the purpose of going on data centric network with it's massively fast 384 kbps modem......

Doesn't bother me as I don't go abroad so hence I'm happy on that tariff.

I thought feel at home works if you buy an addon on 321.

There's always Skype as long as you can get onto a WiFi network it won't cost you anything.

You are right, Feel at Home works with add-ons on 3-2-1.

If my memory serves me correctly.

Q1 2014: Lost ~50k
Q2 2014: Gained ~100k
Q3 2014: More than 100k added

I don't have a figure for Q4 and Q3 could literally be 101k or 99999k so I wouldn't read too much into it.

We'll find out from the financials on the 26th anyway but if I had to make a guess i'd say more than 350k active customers added for CY2014

That's good figures obviously 3 is starting to be one of the popular networks where people can see that they have something to offer for everyone.

It looks like numbers may be down YOY which isn't that good.

At the moment it looks like O2 may have gained more customers.

If you are on PAYG and make numerous calls to 0800 numbers or alternative (by finding out via Say No To 0870), you won't have to eat into the extra 100 minutes on the PAYG All In One 15 sim compared with the contract £15 sim from June this year with 0800 numbers becoming free from then.

None of the mobile service providers will be able to make a big thing about 0800 numbers being exclusively free on contract sims from June as though it's one of the big advantanges of being on contract, because it will no longer be one of the big advantages for contract sims versus PAYG
