Buying first Kindle - help please
Hi - I'm considering buying myself a Kindle and wonder if anyone can give me any advice on which is the best one to get. I'll be using it mostly for reading at night so will need one with a back light. Also, do they work straight out of the box? Thanks very much in advance.

If you have a smart phone you can always download the Kindle app.

The best kindle on the market right now is the kindle voyage. It's backlit and has a higher resolution screen than the paper white.

For comparison of PW and V'ger
See http://mobile.pcadvisor.co.uk/review...te-comparison/ I am more than happy with basic PW as are many thousands. Not sure V'ger is worth extra £60 or so. Also PW has longer battery life. As kindles get more powerful, battery life seems to be reducing. |

Thanks so much for your replies. On your recommendations I think I might go for the PW.
Thanks again. |
