It was great seeing two of the great originals open the episode last night, but I really thought the scenes in the bench in the middle of the square we're live....they certainly felt it !!! Great work from Tish and Adam............long may they reign !!!!!

Clearly not live. There were no mistakes.

There were no mistakes in the live segements either (with possible exception of slight pause before Kat said her line.)

I think the reason that some scenes (including this) appeared live was that they were filmed 'as live' like the ealry Corrie and Dr Who were

It's already been confirmed that Jake Wood fluffed his line last night added the word "whether."

I watched it on iplayer and I thought many scenes looked live but weren't. It will be interesting to see if I think the same after watching it on TV tonight.

Technically the whether/well that is an ad-lib rather than a fluff

It would also have been very difficult to do the seamless panning from Sharon and Ian up to the Docklands skyline if that scene had been live. That probably required a bit of post-production - I don't think the BBC's budget quite stretches to moving Canary Wharf that close to Borehamwood!

They definitely kept a live feel to them without too much editing, helps to keep things smooth I guess and doesnt jar too much when it suddenly does go live.
