Has the HDMI or scart lead (whichever you use) worked ever so slightly loose? That happened to me once, years ago, and I lost the picture but retained sound. Pressing it in firmly restored the picture.

With HDMI it's more likely a handshaking problem or the wrong video format selected, eg 1080p selected when the TV can only handle 1080i. |

That makes sense. I had a scart-only TV when it happened to me.

.If it is only Netflix then a couple of possibilities. The Netflix app the box is using is cream crackered and isn't streaming the video properly. Or it's changed video settings somehow and is using a format your TV doesn't like. Not a lot you can do about a broken app apart from hope YouView fix it soon. You can though check the settings for Netflix and try changing them one at a time to see if it is how the app is configured that is causing the problem. Though obviously that depends on what options there are to configure the app if any. |

)It seems that you only have to look at the thing in a funny way and it plays silly bu**ers. Like appearing to be plugged up OK but only some of the pins making contact so you lose picture or sound. Or maybe one of the RGB streams so you get all sorts of odd colours on the telly. HDMI is a bit better as generally it either works or it doesn't. Rarely any halfway stage where some bits work and others don't. |
