Doro 612 - Transferring contacts?
My Dad has just got a second Doro 612 phone and am looking to see if there is an "easy" way to copy the contacts from the old one to the new one.
Ideally, there would be a piece of software to run on PC that would enable me to manage each phone but, so far, not been able to find anything. If anyone can think of a way to save me sitting down and manually entering all the contacts then I would be VERY grateful! |

Does the 612 have Bluetooth? Contacts can be sent over that and it works well. Alternatively, if he has bought a new phone with another SIM card, you should be able to send the contacts as vCards by going into the phone book, going to options on each contact then send as vCard.
Another way to do it would be to copy all of the contacts to the SIM on the old phone, put it in the new one, then copy it over to the phone memory, but sometimes it ends up looking like a mess. All of the ways are a bit faffy and time consuming, when I upgraded from a 409 to a newer Doro, I just ended up painstakingly typing them all in again, but the 409 is very limited. |

As it happens, though, the phones do have Bluetooth and that would have been an option. How would that work? |
