Sniffing?? Mick thought Tanya was linda and reacted without thinking. As soon as he realised he apologised and left. It was pretty random to include, wasn't really any need for the scene but there you go.
It was 100% scripted.. I re-played it and the cameras even switched to catch him doing it from behind Jo. It was no accident.

Yet another Mick Carter scene this week that didn't need to be there. It's like DTC is just doing it for the sake of it, shoehorning him in like that.

It definitely wasn't needed. It was a superfluous little scene that was not really necessary.
Don't really watch EE, apart from murders or this live week, but it was pretty obvious his character thought she was Linda, and realised his mistake when he saw her face.
He said something including 'L', stop making out you thought it was a mistake just because you're not a fan of Danny Dyer and want him to mess up.
