Simply the best yet. There was just so much going on- Dean's return, Kim's live birth, the surprise return of Kathy, Dot being arrested and of course the much anticipated Lucy reveal. It was simply stunning from beginning to end.

It was awful and it will be remembered as amazing for one scene, It is like they knew that and didn't even try

I thought it was fantastic and extremely we'll done! Don't know why everyone is so disappointed.

Yes it was disjointed but it was brilliant. Shouted so loud when Kathy Beale was revealed that my son who was outside the house thought I was having some sort of seizure!

It was a good episode. But having Lucy Beale murder plot strung out for so long, has meant he reveal had no impact at all. This episode didn't feel 'that' special to me.

I can't believe there are folk out there who were disappointed?! There was a brilliant balance between all the storylines as they ran concurrently- along with some brilliant performances and live aspects.

It certainly featured some awful acting, Jessie Wallace hammed it up as a drunk so much it was embarrassing and the birth....Jeez

The best yet?

Are you having a laugh. Hahahaha.

It was incredibly boring until the Kathy twist and then the Lucy reveal.

I do agree about Kat hamming it up with her drunken routine, but then again it was very in keeping with her character. Technically, the show was on top form as well tonight with some great camera work- particularly the scenes of Phil meeting Kathy at that scrapyard. It was great to see some views of the real London on the skyline.

I thought it was disjointed, like the rest of the week. Inserting the live parts seems to have really hampered the quality of the episodes, unfortunately. I also don't think this episode needed to be an hour-long. The first half really dragged.

agree with posts like this, I was getting bored and the Kathy bit made no sense to me it just seemed very random and basically like they were winging it.

No, they genuinely enjoyed it. If you have a problem with that then feel free to go and act all superior elsewhere.

Well I really enjoyed it. I wish EE was live all the time, it really gives it an edge.

The part where Nick's body was discovered was a fantastic tribute to the first episode. We had Martin Fowler in place of Arthur Fowler, Kush in place of Ali and Stacy in place of Den.

Kathy's return was amazing and I'm still looking forward to finding out what really happened to Lucy.

Agree with you. Got bored with the amount of story lines with no substance.
Dot turned herself into the police
Kim had a baby in the VIc
Dean attempted to take Nancy hostage and Mick tried to kill him
Kathy returned from the dead
Ian found out his new wife had a hand in his daughter's murder

....sorry what would substance look like to you then?
