Things that still need explaining (EE)
- Was Lauren telling the truth about what she did on Good Friday?
- How did Emma work out that 'Jane' killed Lucy just from Dean's comment about Patrick? - What did Emma mean by "it wasn't there...you know"? - Why did Emma call Jane and say "I'm glad I got hold of you...I know you killed Lucy" when she had just been in the pub with Jane? That phrasing makes no sense whatsoever - Why did Lola lie about her alibi? - What was the key Stacey gave Lauren for? - How did none of Ian/Denise/Cindy not hear Bobby argue with Lucy, hit Lucy round the head, then Jane coming in and moving a body? - Max said last night that Abi's shirt was ripped, how did that happen? Abi slapped Lucy and that was it - Why were Ben/Jay trying to go to Miami? - What was Billy's weird obsession with Lucy? And how did it come about? He's never shown any pervy signs before. Not quite comfortable with him being re-written as some old creep - How did Lauren work out how Lucy died from Emma's notes? - Bobby always wanted his 'mum' and dad to be back together as far as I can recall, why would he hit his sister after she made that more likely by chucking out Denise? - Was Bobby's motive really just that Lucy had upset a few people? Because if so that seems really weak - remember DTC said the killer's motive would be "sad but understandable", well plenty of people are struggling to understand his motive - How did Bobby reach up to Lucy to hit her? Even with her sitting down, he would have had to walk towards her and hit her over the head without her being able to protect herself, and with a hell of a lot of strength - strength that I'm not sure a 12 year old would have. Seems a massive cop out after 10 months to not show us how exactly she died I'm sure I missed loads but these are the ones I remembered. Please feel free to add your own. I should add I thought the flashback episodes was one of the best episodes I ever saw, til the reveal...which felt both a copout and unrealistic |
