Ok so yes I know the shows story is that Bobby did kill Lucy but realistically and medically Bobby's blow to the head might not have been the blow that killed her.

Bobby at the time was an 11 year old lad hitting her with a jewellery box made of ridged card. Lucy had several other blows to the head that day which would have likely to have had more force behind them, it is very likely at the time Bobby hit her that Lucy already had a serious head injury meaning Bobby didn't actually kill her.

I understand from Janes eyes that it would look like he did.

Lucy would have been in a weakened state. Bobby wouldn't have needed to hit her that hard to cause serious injury or even death.

If it caught her on the temple it may have been enough. I guess they couldn't film an actual death scene because of the actors age so had to imply what happened best they could.

You could say the same about a photo frame killing Heather but it did and there was a hell of a lot more of Heather.

Don't forget Lucy had already been smacked in the face by Jake, she hit her head on the desk in the car lot office and Abi also claimed she smacked her.

So maybe a combination of circumstances, just Bobby dealt the fatal blow

She was a very slight girl so it wouldn't have taken much for her to crumple.

I agree, and I think this is what is definitely going to happen, if only for it not to make Bobby a killer, and ruining his soap character too early....

And Lucys nose was still bleeding when she was speaking to Jane, so that might have had something to do with it?

Lucy could have already had a fatal injury, very much like Emma.

she was slapped and battered beforehand too..thrown , wolopped by Jake..all these things wouldn't do any good Lol

also Jane saw the door was already open, and Max was looking at the house ( i presume it was their house )

Yes Lucy had a rough old last week and day. Pushed, shoved, man handled, thumped, slapped, mugged and hit. I suppose that was to allow so many to act guilty though it's funny the only one that never acted guilty was Bobby He even managed to act shocked and upset when Ian told him she was dead.

I think in the end she's going to have died from a build of injuries or hit her head on the coffee table. All a bit of a let down

Bobby's blow was the last straw. Yes she may have already have had a small bleed, but with medical attention may have survived.

Lucy was holding the music box to start but Bobby was holding it at the end so there must have been a struggle.

There is nothing realistic about the outcome of the story though, you have to suspend all belief to watch it and take it all in.

If i recall correctly i'm sure i heard abi claim she had "battered" her. maybe more than one slap and a rough up against a wall.

Yet you continue to watch it...

And Denise obviously roughed her up a bit. It does seem that like a team effort

I think Heather was killed by hitting her head off the counter rather than the photo frame, but can't be sure. Perhaps Lucy fell and hit her head off the coffee table.

It's an eerie parallel to Emma's death, but yes, without the other blows in play then, of course, Bobby's blow wouldn't have been fatal.

We'll never know what started the 'trauma timer' as only Lucy knew of all of them.

You are correct. It was a combination of different blows to the head that killed Lucy.

Her fall in the car lot, Jake's punch, the fights with Abi and Denise, and finally Bobby striking her with the jewellery box.

Bobby's attack was the straw that broke the camel's back.

I agree totally with this but I wonder if it will ever come out that this is what actually happened or if Jane or Bobby will be blamed for the whole thing.

Can someone confirm do the police think Lucy died on the common or do they know her body was dumped there ?

I'm very surprised that a forensic examination of the house hadn't turned up evidence that she'd been murdered in the house. The Walford Police really aren't very thorough are they?

The coffee table in the Beale's was all crooked, so Bobby obviously hit her with the jewellery box then she hit her head on the coffee table.

Sadly they didn't show it, possibly because people wouldn't like it as he's "a young boy" lol

I guess there's nothing really to give away how she died, unless you count the jewellery box, but her prints would already be on that. Maybe they should've found a hair strand on it or something.

That jewellery box didn't look that heavy imo, I think it's pretty unrealistic that he killed her with it. Wouldn't she have seen him coming? It's not like he hit her from behind and he's just a kid so he wouldn't know where abouts to hit her to cause most damage. Seems a bit silly to me, I think she would have been able to fight him off.

Also why didn't Jane get rid of the murder weapon? She just left it lying around for anyone and their dog to get hold of.
