Will Hill offering the bet - Will Bobby be interviewed under Police caution for the Murder by 31/03/2015

I was quite surprised by the odds as I thought it would be more likely that Bobby would not be interviewed by the police and the family would cover it up some how.

What do we think?

Yes - 8/11 No - EVS

I cannot see either Jane or Ian letting Bobby get the blame for this.

Who would even believe Jane if she blamed Bobby!

Jane will go down for the murder in an exact replica of the Lauren/Tanya storyline when Tanya protected Lauren.

They may as well try and pin the blame on Nick somehow. He can't defend himself and it'll be justice done for the murders he's got away with.

I'd like to see this played down for a few years and keep Bobby unaware that he's the murderer for the rest of his childhood. Then in years to come it can be a massive story, either someone can let it slip in an argument or he can have a sudden realisation of what he's repressed all these years.

After that though, I don't want him to become a messed up psychopath as it'd be too similar to Ben, I'd like to see the adult Bobby taken down another road but I'm not sure what yet. The possibilities are there though. This is something that shouldn't be rushed and should be allowed to play out over a decade, if not more.

That's what I think's gonna happen too - the Beales will keep the secret amongst themselves.

The obvious seeds for another Ben or Steven troubled kid worries me, though. I hope, if so, it's a unique angle. [In fact we've already heard Bobby was picking fights at school long before this week, things are adding up...]

I'm very curious as to whether Bobby is / has ever been aware he actually killed Lucy!

Interesting odds! If I hadn't just lost my money on Cindy I'd have a go at that

I really don't think he will be interviewed, it won't get that far.

I can see Bobby shafting Jane and claiming he saw her hit Lucy.

I suspect Ian won't want to inform the Police but It would be better alround if he did.

I doubt much will be done about it or to him (Bobby) especially if he did not intend to kill her. He might get prosecuted for a lesser offence. If they don't take him through the justice system then it will affect Bobby much more thooughout his life than if it comes out.

Having said that, it will probably be a different story for Jane. She probably will be treated tough and if realises this, it might be even more reason why they cover it up but I think/want them to inform the Police.
