This why I prefer EastEnders over any other soap...
I love the way EastEnders gets people talking whether it's good or bad. The storylines are gripping and the acting is decent.
Yes Bobby Beale killed his sister but have EastEnders ever done something like this before , no. Has it happened in the real world, unfortunately , yes. So people calling this story ''far fetched'' do your research. The outcome of this reveal will hopefully be massive. On another note, for the people saying '' and EE fans criticise Hollyoaks'' have you ever heard of a place in the real world that slightly mimicks Hollyoaks village? Now that is about as far fetched as it can get.. And finally for the Corrie fans criticizing for criticizings sake take a look at Corrie at the moment. Dreadful storylines, dreadful characters and dreadful acting! |

BEFORE ANYONE POINTS IT OUT, I MADE A MISTAKE IN THE TITLE. SUPPOSED TO SAY ''This IS why I prefer EastEnders over any other soap''

I agree on pretty much all points, the Lucy murder storyline was done in my opinion to absolute perfection in terms of a storyline that got a big portion of the British public excited to see the reveal, honestly some would have complained no matter who the killer was and in hindsight I now find the concept of a child killer something bold and apart from a few examples in previous soaps something that's very very rarely tackled, a lot of the success still depends on how tonight unfolds however.

I agree in part - the acting in particular has been fantastic imo. Wasn't keen on the reveal but each to their own.
