EE: There Is A Real Life Albert Square!.......

In last nights Newsnight programme shown on BBC 2 on Thursday 19th Feb 2015, they did a report with one of the original people behind EE and they showed a real life London street that EE seems to have based Albert Square on!

It really does look like the EE set too but I didn't see the pub/shop but the houses and square, streets are pretty uncanny in how similar they are.

If you want to see this for yourself, I suggest you i player the programme now. Its towards the end of the programme soI'd go to about 40 mins in to try and find this report if you want to see it.

The square is based on Fassett Square in Hackney

I vageuly remember now this being discussed once before but I must have forgoton about it but I haven't seen it being discussed regularly at all. Just once before I think.
