Charley was great fun - especially when Seany pushed her into the pool and when she was screaming at Brian dressed as a clown.

Two classic (and two of my fave) BB moments.

No she ****ing-well wasn't!!

She was a toxic, hideous gob-on-a-stick whose mouth ran faster than her brain(cell)

I could bear not the sight, nor sound of her and stopped watching for a bit until she got booted and then they went and stuck her straight back in again!

I should have called OFCOM

Okay then................I'll grudgingly concede that the pool thing was funny but I wasn't laughing with her one bit.

I didn't find her screeching in the clown suit funny at all.

My answer to that mimics our dear friend Rabid's reply of earlier................

I know that BB4 is considered to be "boring to watch", but I think the HMs in that had a good time. It was a warm, friendly house with no forced conflict, and the HMs did seem to on the whole, genuinely have a good time, and had fun, (certainly more than most of the C5 series). Some viewers may not have felt it fun to watch, but I can imagine it being a nice, fun environment to be around. There does seem to be this belief that all the HMs did was sleep in bed and sunbathe, but there was more to it than that.

8.

There's a reason it's my third favorite season, and that's it. Similarly the reason Big Brother Australia is my favorite version in being fun and quirky, etc.

A few "bad apples" that season and some negativity and an extremely absurd decision by Big Brother but there was a lot of quirkiness and fun throughout. I liked the tasks, Big Mouth was fun, the intruders were great, etc.

Doesn't get any better for me in terms of Big Brother UK than 7, 9, 8. [my three favs]

There's talk of it being the Perez show this recent series but Perez doesn't have anything on the Samanda twins.

I agree. BB2 was my favourite series ever but I loved BB3 as well. It's the first year they started to throw in twists (rich side/poor side) but it wasn't anywhere near as contrived as what we get now.
I still have so many memories of these years and yet latter series just merge into one.

I think the tasks had a lot to do with why these years worked so well. The shopping tasks lasted several days and meant really coming together as a team and the consequences for failure were harsh rather than these days where they get a take out and booze anyway

Same here. I can remember so much until around BB7, and quite a bit from 8-10 then it's all blurred after then. When people say "BB12" or "BB13", it takes me a while to work out which series they're referring to, unless they namecheck the winner. And the last 2-3 years have been particularly samey except for the casts...same gross-out tasks, same cruel tricks, same dark confrontational tone. Really nasty stuff.

I have to agree with all of the above.........unfortunately those days are a distant memory. As someone else pointed out, all CH5 want is constant arguments & where nastiness is the winner.

Once again I'm in agreement. The HM's in BB4 were almost 'forgotten' about by the producers. They had very few tasks & had to amuse themselves most of the time. Even when they did try to alleviate the boredom by making their own enjoyment, they were told to stop (for Elf & Safety reasons) apparently. ROLLEYES

The worst thing about BB4 was that they were allowed to bring books into the house and so, a lot of the time, they sat round reading. Nothing wrong with that and I'm sure a lot of us would do the same if locked indoors all day with nothing much else to do but it didn't make for very interesting tv.
I remember when they had to give up the books and the scene showed the DR door opening and Ray just hurling the books in

Indeed, it didn't make for exciting watching.
They weren't allowed to swap books either, if I remember correctly. I'm sure they banned them because they were pointing out letters & attempting to have private conversations.

For me the conflict should come naturally and not be forced. Inbetween fun and humour if it's there. I loved the one with Alex dancing behind the door. And the first BB was it - with that funny girl that came second I think or third - name beginning with F...

My memory is shocking

We're they the same BB? Alex and F... Fran?

I agree - that was my favourite as well - Brian and Bubble made a great double act, Helen was funny as well and her romance with Paul was touching and genuine. I even liked Elizabeth and Dean and didn't find them boring as some people put it.

I loved Dean and can't believe people thought he was boring. His was the voice of reason, calm and sanity in that house and I loved the way the younger ones deferred to him like he was their dad and would ask his permission to start on the drink, which he found hilarious. He had a really quick, dry wit which is my sort of humour.
Fans if the C5 era BB won't get it but I loved the task where he ended up in the Guinness Book Of Records for the tallest ever sugar cube tower.

Don't know any hms beginning with F in BB3 or 1? BB1 was Craig and Anna - did you mean her? BB3 was Kate and Jonny then Alex?

..............and lip-syncing beautifully

A classic BB moment which I imagine would make the Top 10 for most BB fans

Maybe there are loads of moments like that still going on but the production team won't air what doesn't fit their intended narrative and we won't discover them ourselves without LF
