I'm 47 and regularly cleanse, tone and moisturise with products for mature skin. Recently my skin feels tight but I'm getting the odd spot. I've just put on a charcoal masque for the spots and also have a dry skin masque for afterwards to calm and moisturise my skin. I'm on a budget so will have to stick to Boots and Superdrug. I know I should drink plenty of water etc Does anyone have any tips for hormone affected skin ie topical products and supplements that you've found work? I also get reddened skin and use calming balm when I get a flare up so I'm OK with that. Until now my skin has been OK. I had spots in my teens but that was a very long time ago!

My daughter is going through this and I think she found that the Optima Tea Tree cream that I bought her in Holland & Barretts put sparingly on each spot worked. For the hormonal balancing products I would speak to the Pharmicist at your local Boots they have always been very supportive in the past.
