"If he did top himself, he'd do the world a favour, ‘I feel for his son. He doesn't have a balance or someone else to look up to, he only has Perez."

Got to say i'm with her 100% on this one. I'm only usually with her 90%.

^^ If you can honestly say there's nothing wrong with that then I despair.

what about the child's extended family? his grandmother, aunts? cousins? close family friends? Perez is not the only one within that family who can provide balance for the boy or someone for him to look up to, ( not that I personally believe there is anything wrong with Perez as a father), and as none of us know anything about them as people, or as a family unit , then I don't see how we can make such sweeping judgments and generalisations about the welfare of Perez's son.

Technically, saying the world would be better if a certain person killed themselves is a 'wrong' or 'bad' thing to say.
Doesn't mean I don't agree with saying it, particularly about specific people.

Like Perez for instance?

Bearing in mind that Katie said the exact same thing ('if that was my child, I'd kill it') about a week or so later. But yes, what a great woman, encouraging suicide and all.

That's quite hideous, Perez said something in anger which most of us wouldn't say was right thing to do then weeks later in cold light of day she says worse ! The interviewer frantically looks for something to support the softer side of KH and is quite sickening in his praise of her.

Irony is if she has this soft side why is Perez considered despised and like a one dimensional being ? Appalling journalism if that is what it is, I have never read the magazine so not sure how it stands in the world of journalists.

So true. Any rag which affords space to Katie Hopkins is only fit for chip paper.

I feel heart sorry for Katie Hopkins' children. For all his attention-seeking nonsense, I do believe that Perez would make the better parent.

I have to disagree; Perez describes his work of outing gays and publishing horrible photographs of people and naked underage children as a moral crusade. He portrays himself as a crusader who will use whatever means necessary to achieve his aims. Some years ago he told “Access Hollywood” "It upsets me that people think what I’m doing is a bad thing … I know there is some controversy about outing people, but I also believe the only way we’re gonna have change is with visibility. And if I have to drag some people screaming out of the closet, then I will.” Who died and made him God?

He claims his blog is a public service, a check on Hollywood’s excess and decadence, and not simply a self-serving vehicle to boost his own public image, career and bank account. He wrote on it that he wept tears of joy when he found out one individual he targeted had come out, calling it "another step towards full equality under the law for gays and lesbians, their relationships and their families.” I wonder ......

This is what separates Perez from the rest of the tabloids. Spreading gossip is just an average pedestrian variety of immorality. Claiming that you’re doing it to further civil rights is an outright sham.

The website asked her that specific question.
She answered it.

I loathe Perez, thought he was absolutely awful in the house and agree with previous poster re- his track record of outing people and generally being a ***t. That said, I fail to see how ANYONE can defend the assertion that Perez's topping himself would be a good thing for his Son. His Son is an innocent in all this and he would have to live forever with the knowledge that his Father had killed himself.. What sort of psychological damage could that do to a young innocent?

Hopkins is simply a professional troll as is Perez. They have more in common than they think.

Exactly.

She said it off her own back and not just because a website asked her a question.

I agree, the articles slagging Katie H off are a total waste of ink. I'm also ignoring the fact that 'newspaper' ceased to be used in chippies from the early 80's.

I think you need to very carefully think about what you're agreeing with.
That is a disgusting, cruel, vicious and totally unwarranted thing to say, full stop.
Something one would expect from an enraged 5 year old.

I agree. Perez is a loathsome individual but for KH to state that basically his death would be a good thing shows that she's pure scum.

Shame he's not straight as they are absolutely made for each other

He used to say that before he apologised and tried to change, if you keep repeating it you are doing what he did and you claim is wrong. Let him change and see how he is, because we all need time to grow up and I cannot see why people won't allow him to do the same.

Whilst I actually agree with your comment, I would like to think it also applies to what Perez said in the first place, he was responding to her saying she would shut him in the cupboard and he replied he would kill himself if he was her child. Both comments were in poor taste, if you wanted to get picky you can say Perez took it up a level moving on from 'locked in cupboards' to 'killing oneself'.
