I like some of what she sayss but I'd feel better about it all if it was from someone other than Denise whom i consider one of the nastiest/worst HG in celebrity Big Brother.

Granted, her Big Brother experience is over and maybe she's different outside of the house, etc... but i don't know much about her except what i've seen in the House and a few BBBOTS appearances.

I don't really listen to either of them to be honest

I wonder if Denise realises these types of reactions are what keep Hopkins relevant. Normal procedure is to ignore the troll, not feed it.

I agree with what Welch is saying, completely. I don't believe in kicking someone whilst they are down, nobody is going to react positively to mockery.

I think the BB exposure Of KH has done serious damage when it comes to mental health and depression. We've come a long way recently in raising awareness and were moving away from blaming the victim of the illness. KH is reinforcing the idea that it's ok to offend people because you're just saying what everyone else is thinking, and that is evident with the amount of KH 'followers' that are also 'saying it as it is' and offending masses of people.
Since leaving the house her messages of hate are reaching a far wider audience. I can't believe such a nasty woman is in such demand.

A Troll is something you are meant to be a bit scared of, the Billy Goats Gruff tricked their troll because really the troll was quite stupid as it wanted bigger and better things.

I know Katie Hopkins has a lot of followers who like her being blunt about people but what I find disturbing are the people who reply to what she has to say and relish in being cruel to others

I don't read any magazines so don't really give a toss, but the notion that Hopkins has anything of value to say or even entertain with seriously puzzles me.

She doesn't exist to me other than on this forum but I do occasionally have the misfortune to follow people who retweets one of her tweets. I have a new rule that I unfollow them now when they do. lol
I found it especially cringeworthy when one celeb I was following retweeted her tweet saying that Kelly Clarkson on Graham Norton must have eaten her back-up singers to be that big.
I was like - really? this lazy effort is supposed to be clever humour?
I'm embarrassed for her and anyone that would retweet that.

I know she wasn't a popular winner but I love Denise.

She's had her problems and is open and honest - she speaks her mind but isn't afraid to show a really caring and vulnerable side. She's not spiteful - it's good to see her speaking out although I do feel Hopkins is probably best ignored - I suppose there's truth in the saying 'there is no such thing as bad publicity' - I guess she's rubbing her hands together at all the exposure she's getting.

Horrible woman.

I didn't watch much of that year but I've always really liked her too.

I don't know what it is about the Loose Bints going on CBB but honestly don't like or haven't liked ANY of them on the show

I'd say Denise Welch was a more dangerous voice than Hopkins....

..most tend to ignore Katie Hopkns/assume she's trolling..

....but Denise and her fellow loose women promoted and normalised sexism against men on a daily basis for years....in a way that would not be tolerated if it was the other way around.
