They don't have to slag off the network (although most people won't know what network the MVNO uses) but can easily say bad things about Three's service/tariff/customer service to put people off going direct to Three.

Does giffgaff trash O2 "as a network" i.e. coverage, performance etc ? I'm talking about the "network" not the branded offerings.

I'm on a Three AYCE data tariff, but currently both my Three app and when logged in to My3 on the full website I'm told that I have 1,024 MB left of my data allowance for this month (this was also the case yesterday)

So in other words their systems are a bit up the spout at the moment.
