Anybody know where I can buy a new one for around £20? I'm coming to the end of my contract with 3 and I'm thinking if I just buy a cheap phone and have a cheap sim with calls and texts then I should be alright, it will work out a lot less than it would for this 24 month contract in on now.

The 3210 hasn't been sold new since around 2001/2002. You have absolutely no chance of finding one new.

Look at a current cheap Nokia if you just want a cheap 2G voice/text phone. CPW sell them for around £20.

Can't use a 2G only phone with Three.

Thanks for the feedback guys! I've actually looked in amazon but I'm not sure about the condition because they're mostly used.

You might get a 3310 or 3410 in better condition because they were more recent phones. You might even get a 'barn find' of a new phone that was in a loft somewhere.

Still the same problem, though. You can't use a 2G phone on Three. So if you really want a classic Nokia candybar phone you'll have to switch to O2, Voda or EE.

Do you guys not know that Nokia have been releasing non smartphones since 2001?

You can buy brand new 2G only phones which are much better than the 3210 etc... today.

The Nokia 130 for example.

I seriously don't understand why you want a phone that is about 15 years old.

Also why don't you just keep your old phone and use a pay as you go sim or sim only?

I mean come on.......

In your other thread you say that Three are charging too much for unlimited data, yet here you say you want a cheap 2G phone to use a cheap SIM inside.......wtf....

I think the issue is you don't know what the hell you're talking about.

There is a large row of 2G only phones in my local EE shop, that Nokia is there along with Samsung, LG and Alcatel phones. All look like cheap calculators.

I thought Microsoft was going to stop making Nokia 2G only phones, but perhaps there are a lot in stock!!

Microsoft shipped 200 million smartphones and dumbphones last year. That makes them bigger than Apple in terms of unit shipments and the second largest mobile phone manufacturer in the world.

They're still shipping almost 5x more dumb phones than smartphones.

In fact it was only in 2013 that we saw smartphones outsell dumb/feature phones for the first time worldwide.

As long as it is not the nokia 105 as it has a design fault the ear speaker is louder when the phone is turned the wrong way around

If you don't use it, it will. The talk time on the Moto is three times that of your Nokia.

Who says I want to use this Nokia on Three Mobile though? I've not said that.

I would most likely go for giffgaff sim tbh.

I'm unsure if you have any experience wih iPhone because I've got the 5 and the battery just wastes away so very quickly, even faster now I've upgraded to iOS 8 earlier today. Main reason I want the Nokia 3210 is for nostalgia's sake, the battery life is amazing and it's also indestructible.

Well get one then Personally I prefer the 3310/3330 but that's probably because it brings back happy memories of my first contract phone

These phones sold by the hundreds of millons so you should still be able to get batteries, chargers etc for a good while yet.....

If you want a really nostalgic, well built old Nokia with excellent battery life why not look for a Nokia 6310i?

You can measure stand by life in weeks and they are more likely to be available in good condition with a good battery than a 3210.

Haha that was the first phone I ever had that connected into my cars systems for hands free and built in charging lol. Those were the days lol I still remember thinking that was incredible now a ton of cars have built in handsfree.

The call quality on those was amazing as well. But they are a bit bigger than the 3210- probably won't fit in the average pocket.

I seem to remember my boss carried his on a belt clip.
