One of the last legendary jazzmen of the forties and fifties has died at the grand old age of 94.

He played with, Ellington and Basie and later with so many other jazz greats.

I'm not going to pretend I've heard of him but I notice in the clip that my favourite 1930's jazzman, Teddy Wilson, is on piano.....
