I wonder what they will do? I wonder if he did what Trenyce did and told the producers before the show started.

No, but the must declare it on their application form. Trenyce had one but she was up front about it to the producers, so they had time to consider if it was acceptable for her to be a contestant on AI.

Read on the ABC news website that he did disclose it to the producers on his application form and they were fine with it so he won't be leaving.

If it does turn out to be true, AI have always looked favourably on those who’ve served their punishment, and expressed remorse for their actions (i.e. Trenyce). However, they MUST have disclosed this information to the producers before Smoking Gun finds it (i.e. idiot Corey). Actually, just another example of how unfair they were on Frenchie, who’s past was mildly distasteful to a conservative minority, but not illegal. She was really screwed out of her rightful place in those finals. Just proves that the AI2 season was packed full of the most incredible singers – Reuben, Clay, Kim Locke, Trenyce, Frenchie. Seems to be no one of that calibre of singer this time – some decent voices, and polished performers, but not one simply incredible voice. Shame.
