Anyone got the roku streaming stick? If I plug it into a different telly will it save my settings or will I have to set it up all over again and if I go and plug it back into the telly I originally had it in will I have to set it up all again from the start? As I'm hoping to use it in mutiple rooms on different Telly's if possible?

Yes, you can use it in different TVs and it will remember all your settings/apps etc.

Oh great brill thanks for reply. The lead with the plug that goes into the bottom of USB/stick does that always have to be in it to work or is it like a charging device or something?

It has to be connected to power the stick. Most TVs have a USB port now which you can connect the lead to instead of using a plug socket, as shown in this picture:

A cheaper alternative might be the Now TV box, depending on what you want to use it for of course.

How do you add or get more channels when they become available, do they automatically appear on your telly when using roku?

You have complete control over what channels you want to add or remove. If you select the "Streaming Channels" option you'll get a full list of what's available.

You can also google for "Private Channels" as well - all "Private" means is that they're often user created content that isn't on the official channel line-up.

There's nothing automatic about the channels in general.

Cool, I've seen the streaming channels list but does that ever get updated or new channels you can add to your home page thingy?

Yeah, there's a "New" section that gets the new content. When I had mine, it wasn't updated all that often but i did see the odd new channel appear here and there.
