Last years tasks compared to this years

The Jim Davidson series had the best tasks
The handcuffs at the start,
Ollie and Sam on the fence.
Luisa's secret mission (king Jim disagree and Liz laugh)
The huskies in the mutz nuts bar while everyone thought they were suffering
The saloon questioning
The democracy with only Jim's vote counting. (that was inspired!)
The boxing based on who said what.
The freeze/ clock chiming task.

If the Perez series has housemates covered in food waste I think all of the above would have been fine for this series but what did we get? Hopkins as a bossy cadet and some trolls from twitter??!

I agree the tasks may have not been shown due to the arguing but another thing I noticed with the Jim series is we got more footage per epsiode, and evicition episodes were longer to accomodate the footage. The last series with Perez, Nadia etc had the best housemates but lousy tasks and the worst editing thus far.

Can't disagree with any of that, and if we go back further than last year the tasks are better still.

This year was abysmal.

I'm struggling to remember any task from January but I can still remember tasks from the Channel 4 series, says it all for me.

It feels like when they brought Emma in as the main presenter, it's as if they couldn't afford to pay the task team so the quality of the tasks declined. There isn't much I like about the first few years the show was on Channel 5, but they did tasks well - the yes/no task in BB12 (Alex's spray tans, Heaven bungee jumping), the turf wars task in BB13, so on and so forth. I actually think a lot of those tasks were better than the last couple on Channel 4, where the tasks seemed to go downhill around BB10.

I enjoyed Keith Chegwin's task this series, trying to make the HMs laugh while their job was not to laugh at Keith's jokes. It was a simple task, no set up or props involved.

I think, unfortunately, most of this series' tasks were edited out to show us the never ending Perez v. Katie confrontations.

The episodes should have been longer. the lack of highlights during the eviction shows was a joke
