Simon Cowell isn't all that bad

i suspect it was all rumour put out by Hopkins herself to generate publicity....much like before every single series of CBB the same old faces are rumoured to be appearing and yet never do.

Whilst I was confident that he would never have anything to do with her, I love his response

Gets interest in BGT and he gets to 'slay the dragon', now people will follow her to see her response.

I will add though I'm a little surprised he didn't go for it, I know the show has softened but a public hate figure would boost ratings.

I doubt it.

No one would want a "public hate figure" on a talent show being hateful to children or the older contestants. BGT is not like BB. It would never work. The show would be taken off the air.

KH rules herself out of so many jobs because of her comments and wish to be disliked.

Anyway, she's too old fashioned in her views.

Also seeing how she reacted every time anyone had fun I would think the comedians would stop applying, her praise of Kav's singing pretty much says she would be unable to judge that category too.

Perhaps she could enter the gurning category herself.

Agree re Kav, although if that's her taste there would be some 'interesting' singers coming through.

Thing is, if KH says anything nice about anyone, that's her career f*cked.

I'm not a fan of hers but if Simon doesn't like someone, they can't be all bad. When it comes to manipulating the media with lies and bullshit, Hopkins is smalltime next to Cowell.

Anyone who hires Piers Morgan to judge a talent show is a cockwomble.

I seem to remember a thread on here where people were assuming the rumour to be true.

The trouble is to be a judge of a talent competition, you would need some kind of talent yourself, which of course, Hopkins has none. Naturally she was never going to be considered.

Katie Price has already won it. Seems like Hopkins is destined to live in Price's shadow lol.

I agree but the whole thing is pointless.

I laughed at the stay at home Mum mocking. I think it all springs from the wife of her first husband being a stay at home Mum. She mocked her at the time, the single woman without children.
I'd love to know what her average working week has been in recent years!
