Why do celebs always get these honours how about looking at non celeb mums who are looking after disabled children or children with challenging behaviours because personally I take my hat off to them.

She covered up her 10 year old adopted son murdering his 20 year old Half Sister. The daughter of the man she used to be married too so essentially helped to cover up the murder of her former step daughter so her adopted son doesn't go to prison. This was all actually uncovered on live TV too.

I can't see her even making top 3 ...
...but considering how furious some are about her even being shortlisted..it's tempting to vote for her just to see that anger froth to rabies infected levels.
I can just imagine the fury of Mumsnet, Denise Welch , Loose Women etc.
I suspect the winner will largely be down to whichever Celeb agent thinks it's worth the effort to rig it for a bit more media coverage.

Yep. And which low ranking celeb is desperate to turn up for the award ceremony at the Hanger Lane Premier Inn or whichever such top class establishment is looking for cheap publicity, I mean hosting the event out of the goodness of their hearts

How the hell are these 'zelebs' put forward in the 1st place, & more importantly, WHY!
Do people surreptitiously follow them around for weeks/months, put hidden cameras in their home to see how they interact with their children on a day to day basis. How do they come to the conclusion x or y is 'Mum of the year'. It's a pointless, stupid award for doing what mums all over the world are doing (& possibly making a better job of), than these pointless zelebs!

Agree, nobody has any idea what sort of Mums they really are so its a total waste of time.
