That was bloody hilarious. Craig is still one of my all time favourite HMs, even if his Anthony obsession did go way too far. I'm sure he would've got more sympathy over that incident but he overlooked one tiny detail. He did look like Myra Hindley.

Every time that is mentioned in my mind's eye i see an Andy Warhol picture of him looking like Myra Hindley in a variety of colours like the AW work of Marilyn Monroe....."i refuse to diminish my character" speech was superb !!! Agree with you about the obsession too!!

Ok, so started watching BB6 again and I literally can't get enough

I started again from Day 37, and there is just so much going on, and the group dynamics are changing a lot now that Saskia, and then Maxwell have gone.

I was wondering though, what should I watch after I finish BB6?

I gave up on BB2, because I found it quite dull after 18 days, and following BB1 which was very boring, I just thought it wasn't worth it... Is BB3 a more exciting series, and more in the vein of the classics (bb5-7)?

First off the downs. I remember the series very well.

We had live feed then & I spent a LOT of time commentating on the live feed thread as events were happening.

It was a VERY bitchy year and quite uncomfortable, after the horrid Lesleh, you should remember how Makosi & Vanessa ripped people to shreads, especially their so called friend Kemal in the snug thingy room they had.

How ever for me it has to be one of the best series's ever.

Highlights include.

Craigs' pregnancy

The box task

Kemal taking a bath in the bin.

I will definitely have to watch those clips again

We need those sort of hms again but its a struggle because with all the manipulation, how many people would even audition for it?

These HMs are also so much more offensive than would ever be allowed nowadays unfortunately.

Derek literally just said 'I've been working like a black' in the episode I'm watching.

But, that's another thing I love about this era - the freedom of speech.

The contrast between BB series being classic and PC me is best highlighted between BB6 and BB10. In BB6 when Lesley hid sams make up and Sam complained, BB told her to confront her other HMs as BB would not tell her anything in regards to who hid it. In BB10 when Freddie(?) hid Noirin's(?) make up BB called him into the diary room before she even noticed it was gone and told him to give it back as hiding someone's personal property could be seen by viewers as being offensive and bullying

BB3 may be more up your street, but I loved BB1 & BB2! Maybe it's because I had access to the live feed, but both those years really engrossed me.

That's a really good point. Note how also the hms were not told off for hiding Shahbazs clothes in BB7. So it points to CBB5 which changed BB (as we all know)

I'm wondering what would have happened in Week 7 if all HMs had nominated? That would have ruined their twist.

That's what I'm thinking - the show was designed to be watched with LF certainly in the first 2 years - there were only 3 hours of HLs a week, compared to the 7 we've had since BB6/BB7.

Anyhoo, I'm up to Day 54 now. I thought the two lies week twist was a really good idea - an intriguing one. And that eviction night is certainly one of the most memorable I've seen!

Science is really throwing himselves to the lions - he is killing his chances with all these outbursts. I am also finding it interesting how he's aligned himself with Anthony and Craig since Maxwell and Saskia were evicted.

The whole Makosi and Kemal situation is odd too. It's so strange how since Orlaith came in they've just become so distrusting of each other... I was so shocked when Makosi said 'I cannot stand that boy' when she nominated him in Week 8 when they used to be so close.

Eugene and Orlaith are intersting ones. Eugene is just so dull it's funny. Like it's so bad it's good. He's so socially awkward and it's funny watching him around these huge characters. Couldn't believe he cried when he failed the secret mission

Orlaith was a slow burner - expected her to be dull but she's delivering now with her outbursts at Science.

You can see Craig's obsession with Anthony is developing. I am beginning to like Anthony. He is just a nice guy, and also has good craic

Derek is just such an intriguing character. It was sad to see his breakdown in the DR when he was convinced he wanted to leave. His put-downs have been hilarious but also highly offensive.

So sad to see what the show has become compared to the greatness of BB6.
