I like Shirley, Mick and Tina. Dean makes a good villain aswell. I also quite like Linda and Stan. The Carter's were much better when they first came in, because they were a much smaller unit and they were much more likeable, they didn't hog the screen and they interacted well with the other characters and The Vic seemed more lively again. They are none of those things anymore... They're an overcrowded mess IMO and it's one miserable plot after another, with a big fat dollop of constant karaoke and parties, on top of it all. They've been done to death and it's boring now IMO!
. Kat and Alfie were underused in The Vic and The Carter's are way too overused.I think the only reason a lot of people have warmed to The Carter's is because they are related to Shirley. If it wasn't for Shirley, I don't think they'd have fitted in at all. Shirley has been there for almost a decade and it was nice seeing her backstory and her family being introduced, but it's got a bit stale now and it hasn't worked out well in the long run.

I actually think it would be quite funny!
