All a bit overpriced for not a lot really. I wouldn't pay for a second-rate service.

They may have a lowered there price's but you are all forgetting they are the worst company out there for complaints.
Can't be that bad. Along with 3 Vodafone make up the only two networks to grow both their prepay and contact customer numbers last year.

And of the 3 leading networks the only one to show revenue growth at the end of the year.

If you mean Vodafone, probably a good thing, their CS is about as much use as snowshoes in the Sahara.

They should be known as Obstructive Services for the amount of help they tend to give to customers.

I'm not sure myself tbh.

It's certainly going to happen. And it'll run till the end of the month. Try ringing up or checking in store.

I've now been assured by my contact at Vodafone that the deals will go live before the end of this week.

No they won't, can only have the one discount applied to each line. Though depending on who you work for you maybe able to get 30% off for the first line. Its saved me a massive amount of money, given I only do 12 month contracts any saving is welcome.

The 20GB price is pretty damn good. I pay £10 a month for Spotify, so that means I'd only be paying £20 a month. I am sure lots of people use Spotify and will think the same way.

The problem is that if I haven't got access to an upgraded Vodafone site, my data is almost certainly going to be dog slow compared to EE or Three.
Exactly the the same here. The 20GB plan is so tempting, but then I realise that most of the time I'd wouldn't be able to get 4G with them.

Signed up to the 20GB plan. Also got NHS discount from a friend so I'll be paying £24 a month. Not bad when I'm paying £10 for spotify as it is.

Just a quick heads up for those looking at SIM Only plans.

Due to low 4G customer sign ups in Q1 2015, Vodafone are launching a number of key deals on their SIM Only offerings very similar to the winter sale they had recently. The deals go live from the 1st of March 2015 in store and will launch in the online store on the 2nd of March 2015. The deals will run till the end of the fiscal year.

1GB UK Data
Unlimited UK Minutes
Unlimited UK Texts
£15.30pm

3GB UK Data
Unlimited UK Minutes
Unlimited UK Texts
£19.80pm

6GB UK Data
Unlimited UK Minutes
Unlimited UK Texts
£24.30pm

10GB UK Data
Unlimited UK Minutes
Unlimited UK Texts
£27.20pm

20GB UK Data
Unlimited UK Minutes
Unlimited UK Texts
£30.00pm

Vodafone RED is Vodafone's ultimate tariff that combines Unlimited Minutes and Texts with loads of ultrafast 4G data and a choice of Now TV, Sky Sports Mobile or Spotify to enjoy at no extra cost for up to 12 months. And that's not all, with Vodafone RED you get access to 3 months unlimited data test drive and Vodafone's 5 star care.

Combine the above with Vodafone Euro/International Traveller and 500mb of UK Wi-Fi and you get an excellent package. Don't forget cashback as well.

Vodafone are targeting 3 million 4G customers by the end of the quarter with current numbers now over 2.5 million as of February 2015.
Not worth bothering here as we do not have 4G here and also my phone is 3G and is not going to be updated unless it goes belly up.

Thinking of Dumping vodafone anyway, far better offers available for me and I can still stay on the Vodafone network.

Sainsburys offer for a tenner, 500 mins, 1GB of data and unlimited text. I am paying Vodafone £13 a month for 300min, 750MB of data and unlimited text. the only difference is that I do get Vodafone to Vodafone minutes included as well, but they do not separate them, so it is easy to go over your limit, which I did.

I only know two people on vodafone, so it makes very little difference.

Most people I know are on EE, with the other few on giffgaff.

In my recent testing, Vodafone (where it now has 4G) is performing very well. A marked improvement on a year ago.

The problem is of course that a lot of its network is still to be brought into the 21st century, so it stands to reason that where you are - and where you go - is going to play a big part in deciding on whether this is a good deal.

However, in monetary terms, it blows away the current pricing from EE.

As O2 and Vodafone (hopefully) rapidly improves its network, it will be harder for EE to justify such a premium OR as it seems now, not so much charge a lot of money but restrict the higher data tariffs completely. 5GB on SIM only and 4GB on PAYG is a pathetic 'maximum' for a network that is arguably offering the best coverage AND speed on 4G.

If you're still happy with Vodafone then ring them up, threaten to leave and they'll probably offer you unlimited mins/texts & 1GB data for the same price or less than what you're paying now.

I would double check that. Normal policy is no discount on a discounted plan either VEA or staff

Quick heads up,

Quidco have increased their cashback with Vodafone up to £100 for this week for the various packages

Given the meagre amount of data from O2 and EE at present, and the recent hike in price from Three, and factoring in the added value extras suddenly, these packages look........formidable.

Cheers OP, picked the 1gb/unlimited for my father. Naturally, I will be “test driving” it for the next 14 days before I PAC him in.
